Chelsea interested in Arsenal, Liverpool target, Thomas Lemar
Arsenal and Liverpool target, Thomas Lemar is said to be monitored by Chelsea as the January transfer window draw close.
Chelsea are reported to be interested in signing the Monaco starlet who was courted by the Gunners and the Reds all summer. Arsenal and Liverpool failed to bring the French forward to England over the summer as Arsene Wenger attempted to sign him as a replacement for Manchester-city bound Alexis Sanchez last August.
It’s unclear if Monaco will be willing to let another of their stars leave but what is certain is that he will not be sold for less than the amount [£92M] Arsenal offered on the last day of the summer transfer window.
Lemar has a contract with Monaco till 2020 but it’s possible that English football might appeal more to the Frenchman as Monaco has struggled to repeat the form that made them win the French Ligue 1 title last season, the form and depth of Paris Saint Germain even make achieving that feat more difficult.
The Blues are interested in adding depth to their attack in January after missing out on signing Everton’s Ross Barkley and Swansea’s Fernando Llorente as the latter preferred to join Tottenham last summer.
